The Constitution of the Free Will

The Constitution of the Free Will

The homogeneous space that is autonomous cannot exist without the constitution of the free will. The constitution of the free will to the Truth has to do with the human being who is truly conscious of what it really means to be fully human, with the moral capacity to overcome evil by doing good in the exercise of the will to the Truth thereof. The free will to the Truth is the thoughtful & sober consideration of the eternal struggle that would always exist between the forces of MAAT and the forces of ISFET. Let it be known that what governs this eternal struggle between the forces of MAAT and the forces of ISFET is the Truth, but it is the constitution of the will that determines the dominance of the one against the other. The will once it is constituted becomes free and expresses itself in perfect freedom through the individual consciousness of the Chi.

If we can distinguish between the faculty of MAAT and the faculty of ISFET, we would know that the world is always the manifest proof of their existence and that when we look upon the world from the faculty of MAAT as the dominant principle, we shall see the world differently than if we are to look upon the world from the faculty of ISFET as the dominant principle. These different and diametrically opposed worldviews are the modes of consciousness that would always exist and yet they are activated by the human will in their location in time and space. The active power of the mind determines the processes in time and space through which the will exercises its self-conscious intelligence.

The constituted will is an embodiment of the Truth and it is unchangeably subordinate to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU. The determinate application of the will starts from the abstraction of thought, which can be either sober reflection, reason or the realization of the vision of Nzoputa Uwa. Since the Truth alone is supreme and eternal, it inhabits not only the faculty of MAAT but also the faculty of ISFET. It is the Truth that is the sovereign principle and yet it is the constituted will that makes the Truth applicable, making its aim realizable. The free will is applied Thought that has the freedom to realize the aim of the Truth, for it is the Truth that governs intelligence either from the point of view of MAAT or the point of view of ISFET. If the will is free, its conscience will be clear in terms of the location of its consciousness of being and becoming, and whatever it accomplishes would serve the purpose of its faculty or spirit. The positive existence of the will in which the faculty of ISFET is subordinate and negative is the triumph of the faculty of MAAT. When this state of existence is realized through the devotion of purpose in EKUMEKU, the will becomes free to realize the aim of the everlasting Truth. The freedom of the will to act and be acted upon is essential in the Movement of Nzoputa Uwa and it has revealed itself as consciousness that is fully self-conscious of its unity of being.

It is this freedom of the will to order the world according to the Divine Plan of the One Creator of the universe that is the free will to the Truth. This consciousness of the will to be free, to have freedom from every agreement with Nsi, is the consciousness of its freedom to the Truth and its own freedom to expand the homogeneous space of Nzoputa Uwa. The free will in its process of realizing the Truth, of realizing its existence, realizes the absolute necessity of subordinating the negative faculty of ISFET by offering the Lower Self as the sacrifice for the attainment of the Higher Self and thereby realizes the ultimate aim of the Truth. When this aim is realized and fulfilled, the human being par excellence emerges making the will and the Truth indistinguishable. This final aim is the purpose of the human life and its ultimate reality exists to manifest the Divine Will of AMUN in whom we trust in the life of the human being. This free will to the Truth is the idea of human freedom and once realized in the life of the human being can never be taken away.

This constitution is the absolute aim of the will to be free and to realize its freedom in the Truth--and to see the aim of the Truth actualized. The human being par excellence has the free will to the Truth, constituted with the motive power that makes it possible and gives it determinate existence through the devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU. Without any doubt, it is the Truth that governs intelligence and consequently it is the Truth that governs the constitution of the will. In relation to the Truth, everything must be understood to be subordinate, subservient and interdependent to it. The Truth existing for itself, stands on its own, comparable to nothing except its universal character and substance.

The human will cannot be clearly understood without the Truth which is its animating power or frame of reference. Any thought, reason, or vision that is not subordinated to the Truth becomes neurotic and when it is externalized would create the condition of belief that we historically know as Faith. The condition of Faith is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof.

A man who has a firm belief that he has seen an angel or that angels exist, when questioned very closely, it would become obvious that he is neurotic for he would have no proof in the Truth to support such a belief. Neurotic behavior is a mental and emotional disorder that affects those who have a firm belief in something for which there is no proof. Whatever that is not subordinate or is not subservient to the Truth must never be constituted as a belief until it can be substantiated with proof in the Truth.

For example, if an Unbeliever tells me that he has seen an angel, I will only consider what he has said to be an imitation of thought being externalized. If I want to help the Unbeliever, I will ask the Unbeliever to describe the angel to me. Is the angel male or female? Is it black or white? Is it short or tall? Does it have hands like human beings? Or, does it have wings like birds? Which language does the angel speak? By asking all these questions, I am only trying to expose the neurosis of the concerned Unbeliever. It is only neurotic people that can have a firm belief in something for which there is no proof. Whatever that has no existence in the Truth is a condition of Faith with a capital letter, and the structure of Faith is neurotic.

Whereas faith that is subordinate to the Truth and exist in relation to the Truth is integral to the devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU. There is an element of faith in the devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU, but it is the faith that is subordinate and subservient to the Truth of the divine birth of EKUMEKU. Such a faith in Truth is actually a firm belief in EKUMEKU of which the character of Truth is its proof. It is only through the sociology of knowledge can we know that EKUMEKU is the whole Truth of everlasting life. It is not by the sociology of myth because the divine birth of EKUMEKU became the ultimate reality in its opposition to the neurotic structure of organized Faith in human development.

For the Ekwueme, the Truth is the key to knowledge and not Faith. With the Truth established and understood as supreme and eternal, the constitution of the will to the Truth becomes the devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU. If one knows that the Truth alone is supreme and eternal, but does not have the will to it, it becomes an intention or a mere fancy that is fantastic and inapplicable. The determinate application of the will to the Truth is the devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU. And, the will is incapable of applying the Truth without the knowledge of self. The knowledge of self gives the will the reason, vision and the motivating power to manifest and actualize the aim of the Truth in time and space through the devotion of purpose.

The substantial content of the will when it is in Truth entails a consciousness, intention and motivation powered by the Truth to act upon whatever that is outside of the domain of the Truth as the raw material needed for the realization of the aim of the Truth. Since the aim of the Truth is the realization and the actualization of the ultimate reality, whatever that is not subordinate or subservient to it can be acted upon positively or negatively for the sake of the Truth.

This brings up the question of justice. The consideration of justice cannot exist without the Truth for the Truth is the measure and the measurement cannot exist without the measure from where what is just and what is unjust can be measured. The human freedom, our freedom, comes from the Truth and it is impossible to be free without the knowledge of the Truth. So, if we hear that a man was killed, we will be interested in the Truth of the matter. We need some facts to ascertain if it is true or false. When we must have overcome the illusions in the fact, we will arrive at the Truth. We do not need the condition of Faith in order to know the Truth. We may need faith in order to act in the Truth or to deal with the Truth; but we do not need the condition of Faith to know the Truth. What we actually need is fact because fact is a servant of the Truth--amongst others. Therefore, in order to have a free will to the Truth, we must overcome the condition of Faith, that exists without proof.

If a man tells me that he has seen an angel or that an angel told him something, I will consider the man to be a neurotic in the absence of any proof. Why? It is because he would be incapable of providing any proof of its Truth to substantiate his claims. For there is nothing like an angel except as an externalized neurosis. Wherefore, we must abandon Faith as it has been manifested historically by the religions of ISFET, for it can only lead us to error, in ignorance, falsehood and deception.

The neurotic mind sees things that do not exist and would be bent to justify itself by creating the illusion of their existence. Ask a neurotic man who sees everything black to be evil and negative, his justification can only externalize the neurosis that he suffers. He can never be able to provide any proof of its Truth because what he uses to justify his belief would be based on Faith. At the same time, if one tells us that white represents what is good and positive, you will find that the justification can only be based of Faith. Because one has Faith that white is this or that; or that black is that or this, has no meaning in the context of the Truth. We must abandon the notion of Faith in our mission to be fully self-conscious in the Truth so that the will can become free to realize the ultimate aim of the Truth, of Truth striving towards the consciousness of itself.

Without having comprehended the positive aspect of the color black, the neurotic finds fault with the reality of blackness and overlooks its Truth, and then begins to deal with a phantom which has no truthful relationship with blackness. The neurotic would call the created image of the phantom “blackness” and would use it as an object to deceive others of like mind. Therefore, it must be stated that whatever that does not accord with the Truth is negative and it is worthless to the aim of the Truth. The phantom image of the neurotic vanishes wherever the Truth is made manifest. But if there is no constituted will to the Truth, that is free, the neurotic will project the phantom as the real black image and there would be nobody to challenge the externalized neurosis. It is the free will acting in the Truth that is capable of demolishing the phantom image created by the neurotic. The free will is the abode of resolution, volition and action when it is activated to realize the majestic aim of the Truth.

This inner spring of action must be understood as essential to the Truth in the realization of human freedom for the Truth is the unity that can exist in all things. Let it be known that the first nature of the human spirit inhabits the world of Ekwensu; while the second nature of the human being inhabits the world of EKUMEKU. But it is the Truth that is the underlying unity which unites the two spheres and the free will is their manifest expression. Wherefore, the human will can never be free until it is constituted in the Living Truth to serve the unchangeable aim of the Truth.

The constitution of the will is the sphere in which human freedom gives itself the definition of what is the Truth of its character. This determinate and particular character constitutes the definite substance that is universal in its formation and it is the constituted will of what it means to be the Ekwueme. The Ekwueme is the human being par excellence who is the devoted follower of the Divine Plan of the One Creator of the universe. When we say that the Ekwueme is this or that, we must first realize that the Ekwueme constitutes the basis and the substance of the Truth of the divine birth of EKUMEKU, striving towards the consciousness of realizing itself in accord with its homogeneous space.

The constituted will being free cannot be of such a nature that can be moved by phantoms or that can be tossed to and fro amid the superficiality of Ekwensism; but instead, the constituted will is the absolute arbiter of what is Ekwensism, unmoved by its contingencies which can be applied and managed for the purpose and aim of the Truth. Therefore, the existence of the constituted will is organically linked to the Truth, but would present itself as being interdependent to it, and as one which expands itself in virtue of the internally unchangeable principle of the Truth. Thus, the actual process of the constituted will is the expansion of the consciousness of the Truth, which it attains by its own efforts, according to its devotion of purpose to the supreme principle of EKUMEKU, advancing to the consciousness of its Freedom.
